A Cold Hearted Lie

Seemingly an angel and deceptively sweet you said all the right things at the exact moment needed to steal my heart. You seemed kind and tender. Making love was mind-blowing and like no other experience I’ve known. But it was an act. You were only after my money. D.S.

You Won’t See It End

We were going steady. I adored you. Each evening after work I’d drive by your house to feel closer to you. Night after night I did and you never knew, at least not until I saw you kissing another guy in your driveway in his car. I was only sixteen, but it hurts still today. R.Y.

Can’t Force Myself

For three nights in a row I have dreamed about you. You either angrily told me to go to Hell or took something of mine saying I deserved to lose it for what I did. The only thing stronger than my love for you is the guilt for doing what tore us apart.  It constantly haunts me. J.B.
