Like an addict needs a drug, I need you. We have problems getting along, but even in the moments I despise you I still love you. You make me cry with pain and joy. Sooner or later one or the other has to take over. Will my heart be broken or made whole? Y.U.
I love you.
I hate you.
I like you.
I hate you.
I love you.
I think you’re stupid.
I think you’re a loser.
I think you’re wonderful.
I want to be with you.
I don’t want to be with you.
I would never date you.
I hate you.
I love you…
..I think the madness started the moment we met
and you shook my hand.
Did you have a disease or something?
When I know something is not meant for me, I have learned to let go. That is not a weakness. Rather I am doing the right thing for myself by fighting the urge of wanting what is not good for me. How much I love you is not worth the misery it brings. C.P.
Love doesn’t go out like a light
or with a bang.
It passes away
as slow as honey drips
onto your morning toast.
Love clings to your being
just as wet clothes to skin,
but clothes dry
and so will your tears.
The nights become simpler
and the waves of unbearable heat
grow to be short flashes of subtle warmth,
and soon love will be
just a distant pang in the right back corner
of your still-beating heart.

You’re just someone, not my only one. It took a while for me to mellow into to that frame of mind. I will always be grateful for what we shared and the memories I have of us. For a time we were special together. Finally that is enough. K.E.
We must be willing to let go
of the life we have planned,
so as to have the life that is waiting for us.
E. M. Forster
It seems my only purpose was to help you find out who you’re really in love with. Now you’ve gone back to her and I’m left here all alone with a broken heart that still loves you. You got found and I got left behind. One sided-love is painfully dark and lonely. T.P.
In the arithmetic of love,
one plus one equals everything,
and two minus one equals nothing.
Holding you as you cried until you made yourself sick was one of the hardest things I have ever done. My arms were around your waist as your intense emotions made you throw up. You said I’m sorry” and I believe you. I ended up loving you even more. C.B.
The greatest love
the hardest conditions…
You seemed normal enough and falling in love with you was easy. I hoped you were doing the same with me. However now I know you are not capable of loving anyone. You are too wrapped up in yourself. It’s sad that your heart is rock hard and unfeeling! C.R.
I would rather have eyes that cannot see;
ears that cannot hear;
lips that cannot speak,
than a heart that cannot love.
My brain knows our relationship is over, but my heart refuses to accept it. Hidden there is still hope you’ll change your mind and forgive me. I thought in time my feelings would begin to fade, but that is not happening. I miss you… D.D.
I miss the way you used to hug me,
I miss the way you used to kiss my lips,
but most of all I miss the way you held me
and my heart. I miss you…
Your job kept you on the road so much I lost track of who you are and you seemed like stranger. Even when you were in town you spent most of your time hanging out with your buddies. Now you’re surprised I am breaking up with you? Grow up! K.L.
Brains are like hearts…
they go where they are appreciated.
I don’t want to let you got, but I know it’s what has to be done. You’re done with me. You’ve moved on. You don’t want me any more. How do I empty the space in my heart where my love for you resides? And then how to I fill that emptiness. A.O.
Wanting her is hard to forget,
loving her is hard to regret,
losing her is hard to accept,
but even with all the hurt I’ve felt,
letting go is the most painful yet.
Without hesitation or reservation I opened my heart to you. All I was and hoped to be I gave to you. It was enough… for a while. Then you grew restless and in time, mean to me. Why didn’t you just leave instead of staying around and breaking my hard? A.S.
I think anyone who opened their heart enough
to love without restraint and subsequently
were devastated by loss knows
that in that moment you are forever changed;
a apart of you is no longer whole.
Some will never again love with that level
of abandon where life is perceived
as innocent and the threat of loss seems implausible.
Love and loss, therefore, are linked.
